TXDOCS EDITOR

April's release included a lot of really great form and software updates. First, we officially released our highly-anticipated Online Editor tool in Anywhere. While still in beta testing, this integrated word processing tool allows you to assemble and edit a document within TXdocs, without ever needing to download.
You can set this as your default word processor by going to "Settings", then selecting "Word Processor", then "TXdocs Editor". To learn more about TXdocs Editor you can watch our video here or below. Be sure to attend our free webinar to learn everything you need to know about this great new tool (more details below).

Because TXdocs Editor is still in beta testing, we would love to hear any feedback you have after trying it out!

A new form - "Certificate Regarding Use of Artificial Intelligence" - is now available in both the Family Law and Civil Litigation volumes of TXdocs, and can be assembled to include with pleadings.
Filing in Bexar County? Bexar County requires this form in their Presiding Court. Motions in Family Law now include the option to automatically add the required certificate with the approved language.

The "Hours Billed" report in the Billing Manager section of TXdocsPlus has been overhauled! We've added extra filter options to make your billing reports more useful, and have added the option to show totals per case type. This allows you to sort the hours billed by department or branch using the case type. FYI - we're also working on adding the totals per case type to other reports such as the income report and aged receivables report.

TEAM MEMBER SPOTLIGHT

Jennifer Avina
SENIOR PARALEGAL AND CONTENT DEVELOPER
SENIOR PARALEGAL AND CONTENT DEVELOPER
Jennifer is a crucial member of TXdocs' content development team. She is responsible for coding new and improved forms and speaking with subscribers about content-related questions and suggestions.
Jennifer was a forms coder at ProDoc for 17 years but left the company once it was acquired by Thomson Reuters. After leaving, she decided to complete the paralegal course at The University of Texas at San Antonio.
While working at an insurance defense firm, Jennifer saw a TXdocs presentation and knew she wanted to join the TXdocs team.
Jennifer says she likes working at TXdocs because "our priority is the subscribers! Here, it's not just about the numbers; it's about people. I love watching a form go from inception to implementation to helping to fulfill FormZ requests."
Jennifer keeps busy with her two children - one in middle school and the other a freshman in college. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, listening to music, cooking, and gardening. She is a member of the San Antonio Paralegal Association and volunteers at the San Antonio Botanical Garden.

2. In Family Law, it's now optional to include the Notice of Court Proceeding as part of the motion (for those courts who want this Notice as a separate file).
As a refresher, "FormZ" (pronounced "form-zee") is what TXdocs calls our proprietary software to track subscriber requests for new forms, fixes, or improvements.

SUBSCRIBER QUOTE OF THE MONTH
We've gotten some amazing feedback from our subscribers over the years and we want to start sharing some of it. We'll start with this quote from longtime TXdocs subscriber, John H. Lester of Cypress:
"WELL DONE!!!!!!!!!!!

One of the best decisions I ever made as a lawyer was subscribing to TXdocs. Not just because you've created a great product that meets the practical needs of lawyers, but also because your team works hard to develop personal relationships with your clients and solve their problems. Well done!"
Thanks for the kind words, Mr. Lester!

WELCOME, ANGIE AND SHYLA!
